BS SERIES

The electromechanical brake of the BS series is an DC brake. The main features of the BS series brake are:

• Struttura compatta, massima silenziosità negli interventi e nel funzionamento (< 70 dB secondo le direttive 98/392 CEE);
• The brake is designed for static system behaviour;
• This new and innovative series built by Temporiti s.r.l., is supplied pre-assembled. This results in a very fast assembly. The type of brake is designed to serve Brushless motors. For this reason, they are housed inside the motor structures and do not require ventilation;
• Progettati per un uso statico del freno con possibilità di intervento solo nelle fasi di emergenza, ma con una velocità di rotazione < a 1500 rpm;
• Good heat dissipation of the magnet body through the motor cover and the brake disc through the large aluminium surface. The coil of the electromagnet is completely cemented with epoxy resin, unless otherwise specified, and the mechanical parts are protected by galvanic treatment of galvanizing. The design of the brake in the energized state allows continuous operation without ventilation. Class F insulation;
• The brake allows a constant and high static torque to be developed, due to the particular design of the braking area, which is covered by a patent. There is no variation in the torque load derived from the springs, therefore a constant torque value is obtained over time;
